負扆（下於豈反爾雅云[巾*(戶@甫)]戶之間謂之扆禮記疏云如綈素屏風畫以斧文亦謂之斧扆也說文云從戶衣聲）。

負扆 (The second character has the fanqie 於豈 [yū + qǐ]. The Erya states: 'The space between the window and the door is called the 扆.' The sub-commentary to the Liji states: 'It is like a screen of coarse white silk painted with axe patterns; it is also called an axe-screen [斧扆].' The Shuowen jiezi states: 'Derived from 戶 [door] with 衣 as phonetic.').
