原隰（上牛袁反爾雅曰廣平曰原又曰可食者曰原郭注云可種穀給食也下似入反爾雅云下溼曰隰郭注引公羊傳云下平曰隰）。

原隰 (highlands and lowlands: the first character is *ni[ú]-yu[án]* fan; the Erya states: “Broad and level land is called 原 [*yuán*].” It also states: “Arable land is called 原.” Guo's commentary says: “Grains can be planted there to provide food.” The second character is *s[ì]-r[ù]* fan; the Erya states: “Low-lying and damp land is called 隰 [*xí*].” Guo's commentary cites the Gongyang zhuan: “Low-lying and level land is called 隰”).
