驕侈（上舉喬反說文云馬高六尺也孝經云在上不驕高而不危御注云無禮為驕也下尺氏反又作奓說文奢也切韻泰也）。

驕侈 (arrogant and extravagant: the first character is *j[ǔ]-qi[áo]* fan; the Shuowen jiezi states: “A horse six feet tall.” The Classic of Filial Piety says: “High above yet not arrogant, elevated yet not endangered.” The imperial commentary says: “Being without propriety is arrogance.” The second character is *ch[ǐ]-sh[ì]* fan, also written 奓. The Shuowen jiezi says: “Extravagant.” The Qieyun says: “Excessive”).
