裸露（上花瓦反避俗諱作此音也本音郎果反顧野王云脫衣袒也說文從衣果聲字書從身作躶玉篇從人作倮與經文同也）。

裸露 (naked and exposed: the first character is *hu[ā]-w[ǎ]* fan; pronounced this way to avoid a vulgar taboo; its original pronunciation is *l[áng]-gu[ǒ]* fan. Gu Yewang says: “Stripping off clothing to bare the body.” The Shuowen jiezi states it is classified under 衣 [clothing] with 果 phonetic. Character dictionaries classify it under 身 [body] as 躶; the Yupian classifies it under 人 [person] as 倮, which is identical to the sūtra text).
