烏長國（正云烏仗那梵語西域記云國周五千餘里崇重佛法敬信大乘舊有伽藍一千四百所僧徒一萬八千人竝學大乘寂定為業善誦其文戒行清潔特閑禁呪也）。

Uḍḍiyāna country (烏長國) (Correctly called Uḍḍiyāna in Sanskrit. The Records of the Western Regions states: 'The country's circuit is over five thousand li. They venerate the Buddha-Dharma and respectfully believe in the Mahāyāna. Formerly there were one thousand four hundred saṅghārāmas with eighteen thousand monks, all studying the Mahāyāna, taking quiet contemplation as their practice, skilled at reciting their texts, pure in moral conduct, and exceptionally skilled in incantations and dhāraṇīs').
