雷震（上魯迴反王充論衡曰以天地為爐陰陽為氣相擊成聲也說文正作靁從雨畾聲下章認反切韻云動也起也說文云從雨辰聲）。

雷震 (The first character is pronounced with the fanqie *l-*, [lei], from 魯 and 迴. Wang Chong's *Lunheng* states: 'With heaven and earth as the furnace, and yin and yang as the qi, their striking against one another produces sound.' The *Shuowen* has the orthodox form as 靁, taking 雨 as semantic and 畾 as phonetic. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie *zh-*, [zhen], from 章 and 認. The *Qieyun* states: 'It means to shake; it means to arise.' The *Shuowen* states: 'It takes 雨 as semantic and 辰 as phonetic.')
