甍棟（上莫耕反切韻甍亦棟也下多貢反尒雅曰棟謂之桴郭璞注曰屋穩也桴音浮檼於靳甍從瓦從夢省聲也）。

Rafters and ridgepole (甍棟: the first character has the fanqie 莫 + 耕; Qieyun states, “Meng is also a ridgepole.” The second character has the fanqie 多 + 貢; Erya says, “The ridgepole is called fu.” Guo Pu's commentary says, “The beam supporting the roof.” Fu is pronounced 浮; 檼 is pronounced 於 + 靳. Meng takes 瓦 with 夢 abbreviated for phonetic).
