髑髏（上同祿反下勒候反埤蒼云頭骨也說文云頂骨也並從骨獨樓省聲字經文有作䫳䫫俗字非正體）。

髑髏 (The first character is pronounced 同 + 祿 fanqie; the second 勒 + 候 fanqie. The Pi Cang says: 'A skull.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'The parietal bone.' Both take 骨 as semantic, with 獨 and 樓 abbreviated as phonetic. In the sūtra text, writing them as 䫳 and 䫫 are popular forms and not the standard characters).
