支提（梵語也或云制底或云制多皆訛略應云制底耶此翻為積聚謂於如來涅盤及說法經行等處起塔廟臺閣令無量人天積集福善之所此義翻也舊亦翻為高墳或云靈廟）。

Caitya (支提: Sanskrit; also written 制底 or 制多, all of which are corrupt abbreviations. It should properly be said as caitya [制底耶]. This is translated as 'accumulated gathering' [積聚], meaning the building of stūpas, shrines, towers, and pavilions at sites where the Tathāgata entered nirvāṇa, preached the Dharma, walked in meditation, and so forth, making them places where immeasurable humans and devas accumulate merits and virtues. This is a translation of the meaning. Formerly it was also translated as 'high mound' [高墳] or 'sacred shrine' [靈廟]").
