三摩鉢底（梵語也此云等至琳菀二法師云謂由加行伏沈掉力至其受位身心安和也亦云等持謂平等持心也）。

Samāpatti (三摩鉢底: Sanskrit. Here it is translated as 'equipoise attainment' [等至]. Dharma Masters [Hui]lin and [Hui]yuan state: "It means that by the power of preparatory effort, sinking and agitation are suppressed, reaching the stage of experience where body and mind are tranquil and harmonious." It is also called 'equipoise holding' [等持], meaning maintaining the mind in equipoise).
