滴霤（上都歷反切韻云水滴也說文云涯也從水滴省聲也下力救反案滴霤合作溜說文云水溜也字書云小流也今作霤說文云霤神名也非此用）。

滴霤 (The first character has the fanqie dou + li. The Qieyun says: 'Water dripping.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'A bank; it derives from "water" with the abbreviated phonetic di.' The second character has the fanqie li + jiu. On examination, 滴霤 should properly be written as 溜. The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Water flowing.' Dictionaries say: 'A small stream.' It is currently written as 霤. The Shuowen jiezi says: '霤 is the name of a spirit,' which is not the usage here).
