號嘷（二字同音胡刀反上號爾雅曰舞號雩也說文哭也作唬同下嘷玉篇叫也說文作獋虎怒聲也亦作[囉-維+(((嘹-口)-小)-日+干)]字也）。

Wailing and roaring (號嘷: the two characters share the sound hú + dāo [háo]. For the upper: the Erya says, "Dancing and wailing (號) constitutes the rain sacrifice (雩)." The Shuowen says, "To weep." Also written as 唬 with the same [meaning]. For the lower: the Yupian says, "To shout." The Shuowen writes it as 獋, "the sound of an angry tiger." It is also written with the character [囉-維+(((嘹-口)-小)-日+干)]).
