棽儷（上勅林反玉篇曰木枝而儷也說文木長儷也從林今聲下郎計反字統云伉儷也亦宏壯也棽又音森林二音今並不取）。

Dense and orderly branches (棽儷: for the upper, chì + lín [chēn]; the Yupian says, "Branches of trees growing together in pairs." The Shuowen says, "Tall trees growing side by side; derived from 林 with 今 as phonetic." For the lower, láng + jì [lì]; the Zitong says, "Spouses standing side by side; also grand and imposing." 棽 is also pronounced sēn and lín; neither of these two pronunciations is adopted here).
