翼從（上與職反切韻恭也助也爾雅云翼敬也論語云趨進翼如也孔注云言端謹也下疾用反切韻云後也侍也經文或作翊俗用亦通）。

Flanking retinue (翼從: the first character has the fanqie 與職 [yu + zhi / yì]. The Qieyun says: "Respectful; to assist." The Erya says: "'翼' means revered." The Analects says: "When advancing quickly, [he did so] reverently (翼如)." Kong's commentary says: "This describes uprightness and prudence." The second character has the fanqie 疾用 [ji + yong / cóng]. The Qieyun says: "Following behind; to attend upon." In scripture texts it is sometimes written as 翊, which is also accepted in popular usage.)
