慳悋（上苦間反切韻云恡也爾雅曰慳固也郭璞云慳然牢固也下良刃反切韻云鄙財曰悋考聲云惜也或作恡吝𠫤皆俗字）。

Stingy and miserly (慳悋: the first character has the fanqie 苦間 [ku + jian / qiān]. The Qieyun says: "Stingy (恡)." The Erya says: "'慳' means firm." Guo Pu says: "Tightly clinging and stubborn." The second character has the fanqie 良刃 [liang + ren / lìn]. The Qieyun says: "Being stingy with wealth is called '悋'." The Kaosheng says: "Grudging." It is also written as 恡, 吝, or 𠫤, which are all vulgar characters.)
