補特伽羅（舊經云富伽羅亦云弗伽羅舊翻為數取趣謂諸有情數造集因數取苦果又云或翻為入言捨天陰入人陰等）。

Pudgala (補特伽羅: older sūtras write 富伽羅 or 弗伽羅. The old translation is "one who repeatedly takes destinies" [數取趣], meaning sentient beings repeatedly create and accumulate causes and repeatedly take bitter fruits [of rebirth]. It is also said: "Some translate it as 'entering' [入], speaking of leaving the heavenly aggregates and entering the human aggregates, and so forth").
