搏噬（上補各反切韻云手聲也爾雅曰暴虎徒搏也郭注云謂空手執也下時制反切韻齧噬也又建也從口筮聲也）。

Strike and bite (搏噬: the first character has the fanqie 補 + 各. The Qieyun says: "The sound of hands." The Erya says: "Facing a tiger unarmed is barehanded striking [徒搏]." Guo [Pu's] commentary says: "It means seizing with empty hands." The second character has the fanqie 時 + 制. The Qieyun says: "To gnaw and bite; also to establish." It takes the mouth radical [口] with 筮 as phonetic).
