歌吹（上古俄反切韻歌謠也詩云我歌旦謠爾雅曰徒歌謂之謠下尺偽反爾雅曰徒吹謂之和說文作籥）。

歌吹 (Singing and playing wind instruments: the upper character has the fanqie 古俄; the Qieyun says it means ballads and songs; the Shijing says: “I sing and then chant ballads”; the Erya says: “Singing without accompaniment is called chanting [謠].” The lower character has the fanqie 尺偽; the Erya says: “Blowing [pipes] without accompaniment is called harmony [和]”; the Shuowen writes it as 籥).
