篡奪（上初患反字書纂亦奪也韻英殺也說文從厶箕聲厶音私箕音筭云奪其君位事不敢公私而箕也下奪字說文正作奪強取也云手持一鳥大鳥在上𡙜去也從寸亦通無從木者）。

篡奪 (Usurping and seizing: the upper character has the fanqie 初患; character dictionaries say that 纂 also means seizing; the Yunying says it means killing; the Shuowen says it is formed from 厶 with the phonetic 箕; 厶 is pronounced 私, and 箕 is pronounced 筭; it means usurping one’s lord's position, an affair not done openly, but done privately and through calculation [箕]. For the lower character 奪, the Shuowen properly writes it as 奪, meaning to take by force; it says: “Holding a bird in the hand while a large bird above carries it away”; it is also written with 寸; none are written with 木).
