尒燄（梵語也此云所知花嚴七十七云過尒燄海也菀法師釋云謂智所知境非預識境共轉也）。
尒燄 (jñeya): A Sanskrit term; here translated as 'the knowable' (suozhi). Chapter 77 of the Avataṃsaka-sūtra states: 'Crossing the ocean of jñeya.' Master Yuan explains: 'This refers to the sphere known by wisdom (jñāna), not something that operates together with ordinary consciousness.'
