沈淪（上直林反玉篇沒也切韻大也濁也下劣迍反亦沒水波也爾雅曰小波為淪）。

沈淪 (for the first character, [chén], fanqie 直林 [ɖ- + -im = ɖim/chén]. The Yupian says: “To submerge.” The Qieyun says: “Great; turbid.” For the second character, [lún], fanqie 劣迍 [l- + -uən = luən/lún]. It also means to sink; ripples of water. The Erya says: “Small waves are called 淪.”)
