槌胷（上直追反俗字也正作椎說文擊也從木隹聲下勗恭反說文膺也亦作匈字書云椎胷者悲恨之極自毀其身也）。

槌胷 (for the first character, [chuí], fanqie 直追 [ɖ- + -wi = ɖwi/chuí]; this is a vulgar character, standardly written 椎. The Shuowen says: “To strike. It takes 木 as radical and 隹 as phonetic.” For the second character, [xiōng], fanqie 勗恭 [x- + -ɨoŋ = xioŋ/xiōng]. The Shuowen says: “The breast (膺); also written 匈.” The character books say: “To beat the chest (椎胷) means that in the extremity of grief and resentment one harms one's own body.”)
