隙光（上綺戟反切韻閑也考聲壁孔也說文空閑皆曰隙從阜曰上下小也經文作隟或作隙皆非下古皇反爾雅曰光充也切韻明也大也顯也古作光字）。

隙光 (for the first character, [xì], fanqie 綺戟 [kʰ- + -ɨɐk = kʰɨɐk/xì]. The Qieyun says: “Leisure; an interval.” The Kaosheng says: “A hole in a wall.” The Shuowen says: “Empty intervals are all called 隙. It takes 阜 and 白; upper and lower are small.” In the sūtra text it is written 隟 or 隙; both are incorrect. For the second character, [guāng], fanqie 古皇 [k- + -uɑŋ = kuɑŋ/guāng]. The Erya says: “光 means filling.” The Qieyun says: “Bright; great; manifest.” Anciently written with the character 光.)
