蝦蟆（上胡家反下莫遐反切韻水蟲也又作蜝本草云蝦蟆一名蟾一名去𪓰爾雅云鼁𪓰蟾蜍郭云似蝦蟆居陸地淮南謂之去蚊音甫）。

蝦蟆 (for the first character, [xiā], fanqie 胡家 [ɣ- + -a = ɣa/xiā]. For the second character, [má], fanqie 莫遐 [m- + -a = ma/má]. The Qieyun says: “An aquatic creature.” Also written 蜝. The Bencao says: “The toad is also called chán, also called qùfǔ.” The Erya says: “The qùfǔ is the toad (蟾蜍).” Guo says: “Resembles a frog, living on dry land; in Huainan it is called qùfǔ.” 𪓰 is pronounced 甫.)
