劒把（上居欠反釋名云劒撿也所以防撿非常也廣雅云龍泉太阿干將莫耶斷虵魚膓等十餘名皆劒異号也下必駕反切韻刀劒把也經文作靶說文轡飾也非此用有從金作釰全非）。

Sword hilt [劒把] (The first character has the fanqie phonetic spelling 居 + 欠; the Shiming says: "A sword (jian) is examination (jian); it is that by which abnormal events are checked and guarded against"; the Guangya says: "Longquan, Tai'e, Ganjian, Moye, Duanshe, Yuchang, and more than ten other names are all variant names for swords." The second character has the fanqie phonetic spelling 必 + 駕; the Qieyun says the handle of a knife or sword; the sūtra text writes 靶, which the Shuowen identifies as bridle ornamentation, not what is intended here; some texts write 釰 with the metal classifier, which is completely mistaken).
