緹油（上弟矣反鄭注周禮云綠色繒也又云淺紅也說文帛赤黃色也下油謂絹油也古人用色絹油以書記事也）。

Reddish-yellow oiled silk (緹油: the first character is pronounced *di* + *yi* [= *tǐ*]; Zheng's commentary on the *Rites of Zhou* says it is green silk, and also says it is light red; the *Shuowen jiezi* says it is reddish-yellow silk; the second character, *you*, refers to oiled silk; the ancients used coloured oiled silk to record matters).
