水蛭（下之日反本草云水蛭一名蚊也一名至掌俗呼馬蚑博物志云水蛭三段而成三物字林音猪秩反訓義同）。

水蛭 (The second character has the fanqie *zhi* + *ri* [zhi]. The *Bencao* states: "The leech (*shuizhi*) is also called *wen* (mosquito); another name is *zhizhang*; it is popularly called horse-leech (*maqi*)." The *Bowuzhi* states: "If a leech is cut into three pieces, it becomes three living creatures." The *Zilin* gives the fanqie *zhu* + *zhi* [zhi], with the same gloss and meaning.)
