幖幟（上必遙反廣雅云幖幡也說文幖亦幟也下昌志反韻英云幟旗也以表物也集訓云幟亦幡也從巾戠聲也戠音織）。

幖幟 (The upper character has the fanqie 必遙 [b- + -(y)ew = biāo]; the Guangya says: '幖 means pennant.' The Shuowen says: '幖 also means banner.' The lower character has the fanqie 昌志 [ch- + -(ch)i = zhì]; the Yunying says: 'A flag; used to signal an object.' The Jixun says: '幟 also means banner; it is formed with the classifier 巾 [cloth] and phonetic 戠; 戠 is pronounced 織 [zhī]').
