鷲峯（舊云耆闍崛山正梵云姞栗駄羅矩吒此云鷲峯或云鷲臺此山峯上多栖鷲鳥又類高臺故也在王舍城側說此經處也姞音巨乙反）。

Vulture Peak (鷲峯: formerly called Mount Gṛdhrakūṭa; the correct Sanskrit is *gṛdhrakūṭa*; here translated as Vulture Peak, or sometimes Vulture Terrace; vultures often roost on the summit of this mountain, and it also resembles a high terrace; it is beside Rājagṛha, where this sūtra was preached; *ji* [姞] is pronounced *ju* + *yi* [= *jí*]).
