Extreme yang (亢陽: the first character is pronounced *kang* + *lang* [= *kàng*]; the *Kaosheng* says it means extreme; character dictionaries say it means high; the *Qieyun* says it means drought; the *Yijing* says: "Top nine: dragon exceeding the proper limit will have cause for regret", referring to the culmination of yang).
