虵蛻（上食遮反切韻毒虫也爾雅曰蟒王虵也下湯外反又舒芮反說文蟬虵所解皮也廣雅蝮蜻蛻也蝮扶六反蜟餘六反蟬未脫者）。

Snake slough (虵蛻) (the first character is shi + zhe fan [shé]; Qieyun: "Venomous insect." Erya says: "The python is the king of snakes." The second character is tang + wai fan [tuì], also shu + rui fan [ruì]; Shuowen: "The skin cast off by cicadas and snakes." Guangya: "The cast skin of cicadas and snakes." Fu is fu + liu fan [fú]; yu is yu + liu fan [yù], referring to a cicada that has not yet shed its skin).
