戶樞（下昌朱反郭璞注爾雅云門戶扉樞也韓康伯云樞機制動之主也廣雅樞本也說文從木區聲區音豈俱反域也）。

Door-pivot (戶樞: the second [character] is *shu*, fanqie 昌朱. Guo Pu's commentary to the Erya says: 'The hinge-pivot of a door leaf.' Han Kangbo says: 'The pivot is the master that controls movement.' The Guangya says: 'The pivot is the root.' The Shuowen jiezi says it is derived from the tree radical 木 with 區 as phonetic; 區 is pronounced fanqie 豈俱, meaning a region).
