竝豎（上蒲逈反說文云雙立也切韻比也從二立今經作並俗字也下殊主反玉篇小童未冠者也切韻立也說文作豆經文從立俗用字）。

竝豎 (The first character has the fanqie pu + jiong; the Shuowen says: “Standing side by side.” The Qieyun says: “Adjacent.” It is composed of two li (立). In the present scripture it is written as 并, which is a vulgar character. The second character has the fanqie shu + zhu; the Yupian says: “A young boy who has not yet undergone capping.” The Qieyun says: “To stand.” The Shuowen writes it as 豆; in the scripture text it is written with the standing radical (立), which is the character used in vulgar writing.)
