欬瘶（上苦槩反說文云謦欬也從欠亥聲也下蘇奏反肺病也說文從疒欶聲疒女厄反欶音同上經文從口作咳嗽二形皆非本字）。

欬瘶 (The first character has the fanqie ku + gai; the Shuowen says: “Clearing the throat and coughing.” It is composed of the yawn radical (欠) with hai as phonetic. The second character has the fanqie su + zou; a disease of the lungs. The Shuowen says: “Composed of the disease radical (疒) with shuo as phonetic.” 疒 has the fanqie nü + e; shuo has the same sound as above. In the scripture text they are written with the mouth radical as 咳嗽; neither form is the original character.)
