熾盛（上尺志反考聲熾亦盛也說文猛火也字書明光也從火熾省聲下承政反切韻長也方言云廣大也說文多也從皿成聲）。

熾盛 (The first character has the fanqie chi + zhi; the Kaosheng says: “Chi also means flourishing.” The Shuowen says: “A fierce fire.” Dictionaries say: “Bright light.” It is composed of the fire radical (火) with an abbreviated chi as phonetic. The second character has the fanqie cheng + zheng; the Qieyun says: “Long-lasting.” The Fangyan says: “Broad and great.” The Shuowen says: “Abundant.” It is composed of the dish radical (皿) with cheng as phonetic.)
