琰魔（上以[冉-土+(┴/十)]反梵語也舊云閻羅或云爛魔義翻為平等王或云雙世謂典生死罪福之業主守八寒八熱等地獄於五趣中追攝罪人捶拷治罰決斷善惡更無休息也）。

Yama (琰魔: the first character has the fanqie *y- / r-*; it is Sanskrit; formerly rendered Yanluo 閻羅 or Lanmo 爛魔; translated by its meaning as the King of Impartiality, or 'Twin Realms', referring to his overseeing the karmic retribution of life, death, sins, and blessings, presiding over the eight cold and eight hot hells and so forth, arresting sinners among the five destinies, beating, torturing, punishing, and judging good and evil without any cessation).
