鉞斧（上員月反下方矩反尚書云王左杖黃鉞孔注云以黃飾斧也從金戉聲戉音同上從戈[戉-戈]聲[戉-戈]音厥作戊非也）。

鉞斧 [Battle-axe and axe]: The upper [character] has the fanqie 員月 (yuán + yuè = yuè); the lower has 方矩 (fāng + jǔ = fǔ). The Shangshu says, “The King held in his left hand the yellow battle-axe”; Kong's commentary says, “An axe adorned with yellow.” It derives from 金 with the phonetic 戉; 戉 has the same sound as above, deriving from 戈 with the phonetic [戉-戈] (sounded as 厥); writing it as 戊 is erroneous.
