幖幟（上必遙反考聲云幖舉也或從木作標經從手作摽俗字下昌志反字書云幟謂標上幡也從巾戠聲也）。

幖幟 (The upper character is pronounced with the fanqie bi + yao. The Kaosheng says: "幖 means to raise up." Some write it with 'tree' [木] as 標. The sūtra writes it with 'hand' [手] as 摽, a vulgar character. The lower character is pronounced with the fanqie chang + zhi. The Zishu says: "幟 refers to a banner placed upon an indicator." Classified under 'towel' [巾], with 戠 as phonetic).
