裸形（上華瓦反避俗諱作此音也案說文云本音郎果反顧野王云裸者脫衣露體也從衣在果邊也經文從身作躶亦作倮皆俗用字有經從示作祼音灌不達字義書誤也）。

裸形 (The upper character is pronounced with the fanqie hua + wa, rendered in this sound to avoid a vulgar taboo. Examining the Shuowen, its original sound is with the fanqie lang + guo. Gu Yewang says: "裸 means stripping clothes and exposing the body." Classified under 'clothing' [衣] beside 果. The sūtra text writes it under 'body' [身] as 躶, or as 倮; both are vulgar characters. Some sūtras classify it under 示 as 祼, pronounced guan, which is an error caused by failing to understand the character's meaning).
