杻械（上勅久反下胡戒反玉篇云桎梏也考聲云所以拘罪人也在手曰杻在足曰械竝從木丑戒聲也）。

Manacles and fetters (杻械: the first character is [pronounced] 勅久 [chǒu]; the second character is [pronounced] 胡戒 [xiè]; the Yupian says: "Manacles and fetters (zhìgù)." The Kaosheng says: "What is used to restrain criminals; on the hands they are called chǒu, on the feet they are called xiè. Both are composed of 木 (wood) with 丑 and 戒 phonetic").
