褰衣（上去乾反顧野王云齊魯謂捨曰褰禮記云暑母褰裳鄭注云褰袪也下於機反世本云黃帝臣胡曹姓作衣也上曰衣下曰裳也）。

褰衣 (Lifting up garments: for the first character, fanqie 去乾 [qiān], Gu Yewang says: 'In Qi and Lu, to cast off is called 褰.' The Liji says: 'In hot weather, do not hitch up your lower garments.' Zheng's commentary says: '褰 means to pull up the hem.' For the second character, fanqie 於機 [yī], the Shiben says: 'The Yellow Emperor's minister Hu Cao made clothing. The upper garment is called 衣; the lower garment is called 裳.')
