草苫（下失占反爾雅云白蓋謂之苫郭注云白茅苫也今江東呼為蓋音胡臘反）。
草苫 (Thatch covering: for the second character, fanqie 失占 [shān], the Erya says: 'A white cover is called a 苫.' Guo's commentary says: 'A thatch cover made of white cogon grass; in Jiangdong today it is called a 蓋 [cover],' pronounced 胡臘 [hé].)
