掊地（上薄交反字林音手掊也律文作瓟說文云似瓠可為飲器也非掊地字也）。

掊地 (The first character has the fanqie 薄交 [póu]. The Zilin gives the sound: 'To scrape with the hands.' In the Vinaya text it is written as 瓟. The Shuowen states: 'Resembling a gourd, which can be made into a drinking vessel', which is not the character for digging the earth [掊地].).
