犇馳（上博昆反文字集略云犇驚也說文作奔走也爾雅云大路謂之奔郭注云謂人行步趨走之處也下直离反切韻云馳逐也字書云馳騖也說文云從馬池省聲字）。

犇馳 (The upper character is 博 + 昆 with fanqie. The Wenzi jilüe says: '犇 means startled and running.' The Shuowen writes it as 奔, meaning to run. The Erya says: 'A thoroughfare is called bēn.' Guo's commentary says: 'It refers to a place where people walk, hurry, and run.' The lower character is 直 + 离 with fanqie. The Qieyun says: 'To gallop and pursue.' The Zishu says: 'To gallop swiftly.' The Shuowen says: 'Formed with 馬 ("horse") and 池 abbreviated phonetically').
