箜篌（上苦紅反下胡鉤反字菀云箜篌本胡樂也漢書云靈帝好胡服作胡箜篌也世本云師延所作靡靡之音也出於[濮-(仁-二)+彳]上取空國之侯名也）。

箜篌 (The upper character is 苦 + 紅 with fanqie. The lower character is 胡 + 鉤 with fanqie. The Ziyuan says: 'The kǒnghóu was originally barbarian music.' The Hanshu says: 'Emperor Ling loved barbarian clothing and made barbarian harps.' The Shiben says: 'It was invented by Master Yan as decadent, enticing music, originating in the region of the Pu River, taking its name from the marquis (hóu) of an abandoned territory (kōng)').
