恐嚇（上丘隴反切韻云驚也爾雅云恐懼也從心巩聲巩音拱下呼格反玉篇云嚇怒也字書云呼怒聲也從口赫聲也）。

恐嚇 (The upper character is 丘 + 隴 with fanqie. The Qieyun says: 'To startle.' The Erya says: 'Fear and dread.' Formed with 心 ("heart") and 巩 phonetically; 巩 is pronounced 拱. The lower character is 呼 + 格 with fanqie. The Yupian says: 'To shout in anger.' The Zishu says: 'The sound of an angry cry; formed with 口 ("mouth") and 赫 phonetically').
