祭祠（上子例反切韻享也祀也爾雅云祭天日燔柴說文云字從手持肉以示也下音詞爾雅云春祭曰祠郭注云祠猶食也音飤也）。

祭祠 (The upper character is 子 + 例 with fanqie. The Qieyun says: 'To offer sacrificial food; to sacrifice.' The Erya says: 'Sacrificing to Heaven by burning firewood.' The Shuowen says: 'The character is formed with a hand holding meat to present in sacrifice (示).' The lower character is pronounced 詞. The Erya says: 'A spring sacrifice is called cí.' Guo's commentary says: 'Cí is like feeding (shí); pronounced 飤').
