繩棬（上食陵反切韻索也又直也尚書云木從繩則正下丘員反切韻云器似斗屈竹為也案繩棬即以繩作棬形用搭物也律文作𢃩與𱻄同小憒也）。

繩棬 (Rope basket/loop: for the first character, fanqie 食陵 [shéng], the Qieyun says: 'A cord; also straight.' The Shangshu says: 'Wood following the chalk-line becomes straight.' For the second character, fanqie 丘員 [quān], the Qieyun says: 'A vessel resembling a peck, formed by bending bamboo.' In our case, 繩棬 means using rope to form a basket-like loop for hanging things. The vinaya text writes 𢃩, which is the same as 𱻄, meaning slight confusion.)
