【那提迦葉】那提翻河。《西域記》云：「捺地迦葉波，舊曰那提迦葉，訛也。緝諸迦葉，例無波字，此亦略也。毘婆尸佛時，共樹剎柱，緣是為兄弟。」

[Nadī-kāśyapa] Nadī translates as River. The Xiyu ji says: 'Nadī-kāśyapa was formerly called Nadi Jiaye, which is corrupt. In bringing together all the Kāśyapas, as a rule the syllable "po" was omitted; this too is an abbreviation. In the time of Vipaśyin Buddha, they jointly erected a stūpa pillar, and because of this karmic connection they became brothers.'
