【佛馱跋陀羅】此云覺賢。大乘三果人，甘露飯王之苗裔。於此與羅什相見，什所有疑，多就咨決。東晉義熙十四年，於謝司空寺，譯《華嚴》六十卷。堂前池內，有二童子，常從池出，捧香散華。

[Buddhabhadra] Here translated as "Awakened Virtue" (Juexian). A person who attained the third fruit of the Mahāyāna, he was a descendant of King Amṛtodana. Meeting Kumārajīva here, whenever Kumārajīva had doubts, he mostly went to consult and resolve them with him. In the fourteenth year of the Yixi reign era of the Eastern Jin, at Xie Sikong Temple, he translated the sixty-fascicle Avataṃsaka Sūtra. In the pond before the hall, there were two boys who constantly emerged from the pond holding incense and scattering flowers.
